Yep, this little ray of sunshine over here on your left is 4-year-old me, mid-performance – and clearly nailing the punchline – of my daily comedy show for my grandma. Growing up in the beautiful mountains of Brazil, I’ve always had big dreams and an even bigger drive. Eventually, those dreams had me packing my bags and squeezing my grandma goodbye as I headed to Chicago. In the six years that followed, I’d learn English, graduate with a Bachelor's and Master's degree, but most importantly I’d discover who I was and what I could accomplish when chasing those big dreams.

Along the way, that looked like proudly representing my Brazilian and Latin cultural background in everyday life as well as in two prominent cultural competitions. Being crowned in both Brazil and Latin America Cultural pageants helped me confidently celebrate where I came from, but also show the world the rich culture and beautiful diversity of Central and South America.

Meanwhile, that little comedic performer was never forgotten - but instead found a new expression in the form of improv. I took my first real steps at The Second City Chicago and continued to grow by landing a spot in the Los Angeles’ Second City Improv Conservatory.

My journey on stage has confirmed what that little redhead with the explosive laugh knew way back in Brazil: that I am and always will be an entertainer!

Since becoming an LA-based actor (newly SAG eligible!), improv has turned into commercials and roles in award-winning short and feature films. And now, as a new dual-citizen, I bring my Brazilian and American experience into every role in hopes that my journey between cultures may help others recognize and celebrate the uniqueness that is their own story. As creators, this is where the real magic begins!
